Cleaning Quartz Worktops

All quartz manufacturers have their own set of care and cleaning instructions that are specific to that manufacturer and brand. As these are mostly the same, we have simplified the care and cleaning method & products used into one simple guide that is safe to use on any of the quartz products we sell.
We strongly suggest that you first read the instructions set out by the quartz manufacturer that you have installed to avoid invalidating your warranty. Clicking on the links below for the brand you have will take you to that company’s information on care and cleaning. While quartz is very easy to care for and clean it is advisable to only use products that are approved by the manufacturer. Cif actifizz, Cif bathroom cream cleaner and Scotch-Brite, non-scratch scourers are acceptable products to use on any of the branded quartz we sell.

If you have any questions with regard to care and cleaning for your product, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information. If you have a specific cleaning method or/ and product that you wish to use please contact us and we will be happy to supply you with a sample of the quartz or granite you have to test for suitability. However, we cannot be held responsible if you damage your worktops using a product or method that is not approved by the company / brand of product that you have installed

CLEANING METHOD FOR POLISHED QUARTZ SURFACES

Fill the sink with hot water and a little ph neutral cleaner or you may also use spray cleaners such as CIF actifizz, CIF Powershine or Dettol Surface Cleanser.

WHAT TO AVOID WITH QUARTZ SURFACES

Never place a hot pan or roasting dish directly on quartz surfaces . This may leave a visible ring or crack the worktop- this is not covered by any warranty and neither can be fixed, a new worktop would be required. Always use a Trivot to put hot objets on- we recommend the franke rollmat.
